This Privacy Policy is an electronic record in the form of an electronic contract formed under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic documents/records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. The terms “We/Us/Our/Greenauto” individually and collectively refer to Greenauto Car Rental Private Limited and the terms “You/Your/Yourself” refer to the users/members under the Membership Agreement. This Privacy Policy is a legally binding document between you and Greenauto (both terms defined above).
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Greenauto Car Rental Private Limited (“Company”) collects, uses, protects, and discloses personal information of customers and partners in relation to the self-drive car rental services provided through its Android/iOS application/any other mode (“Application”). This Policy is governed by the laws and acts of India, including but not limited to the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019 as amended from time to time.
1. Collection and Use of Personal Information
1.1 Customers
When a customer uses the Application, the Company may collect personal information such as name, contact details, email address, driving license information, and payment details. This information is collected to facilitate the rental process, provide customer support, and for internal record-keeping purposes. The Company may also collect location information to enable the tracking and monitoring of rented vehicles.
1.2 Partners
When a partner attaches their car with the Company for earning, the Company may collect personal information such as name, contact details, vehicle information, and payment details. This information is collected to facilitate the partnership, manage earnings, and for internal record-keeping purposes.

The Company takes appropriate security measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include physical, electronic, and managerial safeguards.

6. Incorporation of Privacy Policy into Terms & Conditions
This Policy is a legally binding contract between You and Greenauto, whose Application/Website you use or access or otherwise deal with. This Policy shall be read together with the other terms and conditions of the Application/Website, viz, Membership Agreement and Fees Policy being displayed on the application/website www.greenautocars.co.in.

The Company may update this Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on the Application, and customers and partners are advised to review this Policy periodically for any updates.
